SoundPulse is a music analytics service operated by Embedded Finances, S.L. (trade name: CRUWI), NIF B10852952, with registered office at Calle Álamos nº7, planta 1, 29012 Málaga, Spain (“we”, “us”, or “the Controller”).

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit our website, create an account, use SoundPulse, or interact with our marketing communications. It applies in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).

3. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

• Account data: name, email address, organization name, password (stored in hashed form), role, and authentication identifiers.
• Usage data: songs, artists, sounds, metrics you import or track, team invitations, and activity within the dashboard.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, logs, and security events.
• Marketing and cookie data: cookie preferences and, if you consent, advertising measurement data via the Meta Pixel (e.g. page views and conversion events such as sign-up actions).
• Communications: messages you send us and support correspondence.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data. Please do not submit sensitive information through the service unless strictly necessary.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Provide the service (account creation, authentication, analytics dashboard): performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Security, fraud prevention, and service improvement: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Legal and accounting obligations: compliance with law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Marketing cookies and Meta Pixel: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via your browser settings and by clearing stored cookie preferences.
• Service-related emails (e.g. account verification, invites): contract or legitimate interest, as applicable.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage required for authentication, security, and remembering your cookie choice. With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and campaign optimization.

6. Recipients and processors

We may share data with trusted providers who process data on our behalf, including:

• Supabase (hosting, database, and authentication)
• Vercel (application hosting)
• Meta Platforms (advertising measurement, only with consent)
• Chartmetric and platform APIs used to import and sync music metrics

These providers are bound by data processing agreements where required. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms under GDPR Chapter V.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. Marketing consent records are kept to demonstrate compliance.

10. Children

SoundPulse is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
